Welcome

"A poet is a bird of unearthly excellence, who escapes from his celestial realm arrives in this world warbling. If we do not cherish him, he spreads his wings and flies back into his homeland.” --Khalil Gibran

Sincere ScribeTM

I preach with my pencil and my ink pen,
Sending a message to women and men.
With rhyme, I speak aloud to boys and girls.
I am God's spokesperson to the world.

Read my poetry with an open mind.
Heavenly treasures within, you will find.
I teach life lessons with the written word.
If you listen, the truth you will have heard.

My inspiration arrives from above.
I let it flow onto paper with love.
My hand moves under the Lord's anointing.
I write poems with the Spirit's appointing.

I am a sincere scribe chosen by God.
My earthly work, I want Him to applaud.
State what you will, and judge me how you may.
The urgent call of God, I must obey.

Sincerely,
Sylvia Green Chatman
